Manageability

  • Network Management Capabilities -Full-featured network management interfaces offering standards-based management via Web, SNMP and Telnet. It allows users to remotely access, configure and manage the units in order to save time. In addition to this feature, it is also possible to update the firmware quickly and easily via network upload for future product improvements.
  • Remote Individual Outlet Control – Manages outlets remotely so users can turn off outlets not in use (preventing overload) or power locked equipment (minimizing costly downtime and eliminating travel time to equipment).
  • Updatable Flash -Quickly and easily update product information via network rebates for future product developments. It eliminates the need to replace products already installed in the field when new features are released.
  • Outlet Power Sequencing -Allows users to configure the power up or down sequence for each outlet. This helps prevent power surges during startup that can cause overloaded circuits and underloads. Queuing also allows users to predetermine which hardware will power on first, allowing other hardware connected to it to function properly.
  • Load Current Monitoring Screen -The total current draw of each power distribution unit is displayed on the digital screen on the unit. A local digital display helps installers avoid overloaded circuits by providing a visual warning when current draw approaches the strip’s maximum amp draw.
  • Network port sharing -Allows connection of up to four rack PDUs using the Input and Output ports; Requires a single network connection.
